Will God Judge Sin??

2 Peter 2:1-9 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. [2] And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. [3] And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. [4] For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; [5] And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; [6] And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; [7] And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: [8] (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) [9] The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished: (KJV)

Verse 1: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. There were false prophets in Israel, just as there are false teachers among us today. They cleverly and subtly teach their destructive heresies about God and even turn against their Master who bought them. The Bible says theirs will be a swift and terrible end.

Verse 2: And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. There are millions who follow the evil teaching and shameful immorality of false teachers. It’s because of them, Christ and His Truth will be blasphemed.

Verse 3: And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. There are many sly, greedy men making up clever lies in the Name of the Lord to get hold of your money. They blatantly preach "damnable heresies" from the pulpit. They claim they can heal, while it is God alone who can heal! God will condemn them, they will pay for the wrong they do. Before you send money to any cause, check it out carefully. Is the person glorifying God? OR promoting his/her own interests?

Verse 4: For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; There are thousands upon thousands of people who believe God will not send anyone to Hell. A "loving God would not send anyone to Hell" are the words that they foolishly boast. But, this verse tells us that the angels that decided to follow Lucifer in his rebellion against God, were not spared when they sinned. God cast (threw) them into Hades (present day Hell), in darkness until the judgment day. Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. [KJV]

Verse 5: And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; What about the ancient world? God did not spare the wickedness of the people then . . . except for Noah and his family. Noah warned the world of God’s righteous judgment. Then God destroyed the whole world of ungodly people with a worldwide flood (Gen.6:5-8; 7:21-23). There are those who foolishly say this is just a story. They say this did not happen. My friend, it DID happen, just as God tells us in His Holy Word. If you believe any part of the Bible, you must believe it ALL! Do you think God tells truth some places? and not in others? No! God does NOT lie (Titus 1:2; Rom.3:4; Heb.6:18). Other references of God’s truthful character: Num.23:19; Deut.32:4; Ps. 33:4; 57:10; 89:14,15; 100:5; 146:6; 119:160; Isa.65:16; and many more. God cannot lie! The Flood did happen, just as God describes it. He did destroy the wicked people, ALL of them!

Verse 6: And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; And what about Sodom and Gomorrah? He left the cities in heaps of ashes and swept them off the face of the Earth. He made them an example of what will happen to ungodly people. The world is speeding to a like judgment because of the immorality of people today. Homosexuality is WRONG! It is a SIN! God says so, and I believe Him.

Leviticus 18:22-24 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. [23] Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. [24] Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: [KJV]

Leviticus 20:13-16 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. [14] And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you. [15] And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast. [16] And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. [KJV]

Romans 1:24-32 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: [25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. [26] For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: [27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. [28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; [29] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, [30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, [31] Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: [32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. [KJV]

1 Cor. 6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, [10] Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. [11] And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. [KJV]

1 Tim. 1:10-11 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; [11] According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust. [KJV]

Do you see that God hates homosexuality? . . . He will judge this sin as well as ALL others!

Verses 7-8: And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: [8] (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) [9] The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. But . . . God rescued Lot out of Sodom because he was a good man who was sick of all the immorality and wickedness around him. He was a righteous man who was greatly disturbed by the wickedness he saw and heard day after day. As you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, but He will punish the wicked. you can count on it!

If God in the past has punished the ungodly and saved His people, you can be sure He will do so also in our days.

The angels . . . the highest of intelligent creatures were not spared when they sinned.

The wicked people who lived before the flood, were given 120 years to repent. They did NOT repent of their sin but kept on and ridiculed Noah, God’s man. They were ALL killed by the Flood.

The citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah, were all destroyed when God rained down fire and brimstone on them. Abraham’s intercession for them was in vain (Genesis 18:16-33). All were destroyed!

What about false teachers of today? Do you honestly believe God will spare them? No way! God has not changed His position on sin! He is the same, yesterday, today and forever! (Heb.13:8; Jam.1:17; Mal.3:6). God never changes. People change but God does NOT change! They SHALL be judged.

What about you? Are you living a life that displeases God? Are you living in sin? Do you think it’s OK to live "alternative" lifestyles? Do you think "times have changed" and God has too? Or do not even think about God? Or maybe you don’t think there really is a God. Beware, my friend! There is definitely a God, and He has NOT changed His mind about sin, not even one iota! To Him, sin is sin! If you do not know Jesus for the full pardon of your sins, you will be cast into Hell. Even the devils believe there is a God, and they tremble at the thought of it (James 2:19). Some people want you believe that God will save ALL people because He is so loving. God is indeed loving, BUT, He also CANNOT lie, and He clearly states Hell awaits unbelievers (the wicked). I beg you, do NOT listen to the lies of false teachers! It is a fool who thinks that God will cancel the last judgment, and not cast evil doers to Hell. The examples above in 2 Peter 2:1-9 should warn us clearly that God DOES judge sin and that unrepentant sinners cannot and will not escape the fires of Hell.

"A Loving God Wouldn’t Send Me to Hell, Would He?" is what many people think and ask. But Almighty God is a right, just and fair God. He will ALWAYS do what is right.

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. [KJV] All those who have accepted Jesus and lived a life pleasing to Him, shall be raised to eternal life (1 Cor. 15:51-57; 1 Thes.4:15-18; Rev.21:1-80. All those who have rejected Jesus and denied Him as Saviour and Lord, living a life that pleased only themselves, will face eternal pninshment in Hell (Rev.20:11-15).

WHY WOULD HE SPARE YOU??

If God spared not the angels that did sin,
But cast them to Hades; all chained within,
Reserved in the darkness; judgment to wait,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you do hate.

If God spared not the old world, way back then,
But brought a flood, where the ungodly had been.
Saved just Noah’s family, out of respect,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you reject.

If God spared not Sodom and Gomorrha,
But turned them to ashes from brimstone and fire.
Made them an example, to not live in sin,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you won’t win.

God won’t spare filthy dreamers of today,
That preach Heaven by some other way.
And the ones that listen, and take it all in,
Won’t be spared either, for it’s all sin!

God made just one Way of salvation for man,
We must BELIEVE Him; accept His only plan!
God sent His own Son to take away our sin,
Unless you believe and accept Christ; you can’t win!
