The Amazing Grace of God

Any and all that I write and teach, is with total and willing dependence upon the awesome power of God the Holy Spirit, in hopes that it may lead someone to Jesus. It is clear in the Bible that poorer people are more likely to receive the amazing grace of our Lord than the rich and famous (Mat.19:24; Mark 10:25). Because it is impossible for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, it appears impossible for a rich person to get to Heaven. But Jesus tells us that “with God all things are possible” (Mat.19:26). Even rich people CAN enter the Kingdom IF God brings them in. Faith in Christ, not in self or riches, is what makes access to Heaven possible (John 14:6).
If anyone of wealth, rank, power, or fame should ever read this, the Holy Spirit can impress upon them also, the fact and Truth of God’s amazing grace. If my simple words can be understood by the uneducated, surely they can also be understood by the highly educated, IF they have the desire. Only God alone knows how many will find their way to the remarkable peace He offers, by what I write.

There is a Fountain along the road side where you are traveling this day. Many thirsty persons drink there, quenching their internal, spiritual thirst. This thirst is deep down within us, in our soul. We humans seem to have a void, an empty place in our soul, which cries out to be filled. It’s a big, God-shaped hole, crying out to be occupied! Jesus has told us that IF we hunger and thirst for the things of God, we shall be filled!
Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. [KJV] . . . The amazing grace of God will see to it! But, IF you do not hunger for God, IF you do not thirst for Him, the grace of God will NOT come your way. It will pass you by! You will not, and you cannot, know that remarkable peace that God has that He so wants to give to you; unless you are willing to accept His Son.
I am not writing this to demand anything from you, but to bring you something. I won’t talk only about right and wrong, and punishment; but also about love, goodness, forgiveness, mercy and eternal life. I write to you in the Name of Jesus, and offer you His free Gift! This Gift will enhance your present life and give you eternal joy. If you will just open the door, and let Jesus in (Rev. 3:20), things in your life will begin to change, for the better!
Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. [KJV]
When you hear Jesus knock, do not refuse to open your heart’s door to Him. Remember that He is knocking with a nail-scarred Hand! Since He has only your good in mind, open and let Him in!  Let the good He brings with Him sink into your soul. This may be the hour in which you enter that new life which is the beginning of Heaven. “Faith cometh by hearing” (Rom. 10:17), and reading is a way of hearing. Faith could come to you while you are reading this. It is possible! O gracious God, make it be so!

The Amazing Grace of God
God’s Grace Is FREE!   Chapter 1

God’s grace is a free Gift to us, and we do NOT deserve it. His loving kindness, is given to us because He is God! The God of the Bible is good! Our Creator is good! He loves us. The only thing He asks of us is to believe Him in faith. Is that too much for Him to ask?
His amazing grace is the fountain head of our salvation.
Eph.2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [KJV] . . . It is only because God is full of grace, mercy, kindness and compassion, that sinners are forgiven, purified, converted and saved. It is not because of anything we do or ever could do! It’s only because of God’s unlimited love, goodness, pity, compassion, mercy and grace that we are saved! Consider the pure river of water of life, as it proceeds out of the throne of God and of the Lamb! From a bottomless pit comes the amazing grace of God! Can anyone measure its wideness? Can anyone comprehend its depth? Just as is all the rest
of God’s divine characteristics, so too, is His grace endless. God is full of love, for “God is love.” Unlimited goodness and love is the basic nature of the Godhead. It is only because “his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalm 136) that the ungodly are not utterly destroyed; and because “his compassions fail not” (Lam.3:22) that sinners can come to Him and be forgiven for all their vile and wicked sins.
We do not have to fulfill any obligations to be loved by God. We do not have to do any good works to be loved by God. We do not have to be successful in life to be loved by God. We cannot earn His love, no matter what we would do. The only thing we must do is accept Jesus as our personal Saviour and Lord. When we do that we are pleasing in God’s sight.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (KJV) We must be “born again” into God’s family (John 3:3).

John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV)

Rom.5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (KJV) . . . All people who are not justified by faith, are God’s enemies.

Rom.5:8-10 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. [10] For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (KJV)
Only Jesus can restore our friendship with God. Only Jesus can deliver us from eternal punishment. Only Jesus can justify us, giving us complete peace with God, thus making us qualified for Heaven!

2 Cor. 9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. (KJV) His unspeakable gift . . . wow! The Gift of God’s own Son, includes many other gifts (2 Cor. 8:9; Rom.8:32). “His unspeakable gift.” What a great thing it is, eternal life in Heaven with Him! If God gives us Jesus, He certainly will not hold back anything from us. Why would He? He has already given us the Best He had to offer!

Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV) . . . God does NOT force anyone to accept Jesus. You are free to choose between two masters: the old devil or Jesus. Most of the world chooses the devil.  Each of the two masters pays in his own way. If you choose to walk with Satan, the “wages” you will receive is eternal death. That is the most you can expect or hope for in life without God. If you choose to walk with Jesus, God gives you a “gift” that is absolutely unequalled, eternal life in Heaven! Eternal life is a free gift from God, because of His amazing grace. Salvation is a gift of God, only through Jesus Christ. He saved us because of His unending mercy, not because of any right or good things we have done (Titus 3:5).

Rom.5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. (KJV) . . . Adam’s one sin brought condemnation to all people, but Christ’s one act of righteousness makes all people right in God’s sight and gives them eternal life. This truly is an “unspeakable” gift!

The Amazing Grace of God
Gives Us Access to Him   Chapter 2

Rom.5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (KJV) . . . Peace with God means there is no more hostility between us, no sin blocking our relationship with Him. Until we open our heart’s door to Jesus, we are God’s enemy (Rom.5:10). Peace with God is possible only because Jesus paid the price for our sins through His death on the cross. If we refuse to believe this fact, this Truth, we are an enemy of God. Those who readily accept Jesus as their personal Saviour and Lord, feel both the Presence of Christ and the pressure of sin. We enjoy the deep down peace that comes from being made right with God, but we still face daily problems. As believers, we stand in a place of great privilege “this grace wherein we stand.” Not only has God declared us not guilty in the courts of Heaven; He has drawn us close to Himself. Instead of being God’s enemies, we are His friends . . . His own children.

1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (KJV) . . . As believers, our worth is based on the fact that God loves us and calls us His children. We are His children NOW, not just sometime in the distant future. Because of His amazing grace, we are children of the Almighty Creator! We should live as Jesus did, striving to imitate His pure and holy life. Do you allow the devil to steal the Truth of God’s grace and love from you? Do you listen as he whispers in your ear . . . “You need to do better, you need to be perfect, you need to do good works for that is the only way you can ever merit God’s grace in your life.” That old devil can make you feel so inferior, so unworthy! He also will try his best to tell you that you certainly cannot access the Throne of God. Do NOT listen to this thief! He is trying to rob you the wondrous peace and joy that God, by His grace, gives us so freely.
The devil (and his cohorts), will also say to you: “Who do you think you are? Why do you think God will hear your prayer?” When we allow Jesus to come into our heart and life, we are made eternal heirs to the amazing grace of God. God showers His grace on us, abundantly. How privileged we are! God’s children are loved by God in a most awesome way. His love flows continually . . . just for you. You do not have to feel guilt by thinking you are not “good enough.” My friend, Jesus makes you “good enough!” When we ask Him into our lives, God applies Jesus’ righteousness to us . . . so we are good in God’s eyes!

1 Cor. 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: (KJV) . . . The grace of God gives us Jesus’ righteousness when we accept Him and what He has done for us on the cross.

Heb.4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (KJV) . . .  With Jesus on our side, we can go with confidence to the God’s Throne of grace to receive mercy and love.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (KJV) . . . Jesus is the only Door to God and His Home, Heaven, also to the Throne of grace.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV) . . . How do we get to God? Only through Jesus. When you trust Jesus to take you to the Father, all the benefits of being God’s child are yours.

Ephes. 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. (KJV) . . . It is an awesome privilege to be able to approach God with freedom and confidence. Have you ever considered just who this powerful, magnificent Ruler is? Almighty God, the Creator of the Universe and everything that is in it! Instead of being uneasy and afraid to be in His Presence, we can go with great assurance, because of Christ Jesus. By faith we can enter directly into God’s Presence through prayer. We can access Him and know we will be welcomed with open arms because we are His children through our union with Christ. Don’t ever be afraid to talk to God. Talk with him about everything. He is waiting to hear from you.

Heb.10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, (KJV)  . . . The “holiest” in the Temple was sealed from view by a curtain (Heb.10:20). Only the high priest could enter there, just once a year. Jesus’ death removed the curtain; now all believers may go into God’s Presence at any time. We have been granted access by Jesus.

The Amazing Grace of God
Our Need for Grace   Chapter 3

Do you really appreciate the marvelous blessing of God’s grace? To do so, we must have a Biblical understanding of what it is, plus we also must be aware of just how much we NEED God’s amazing grace.
First, let’s describe sin in down to Earth every day language. Sin = our inner nature wanting to go against God; disobeying God. We ALL are sinners (Rom.3:10, 23). We must admit that (1 John 1:8-10) or we call God a “liar.” As sinners, we are rightly condemned by God. We deserve God’s wrath, both now in this world, and in eternity.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (KJV) If we “believe on Jesus” we are not condemned (judged to Hell); but immediately on our believing, we are “passed from death unto life” (John 5:24). BUT . . . anyone who refuses to believe God (1 John 5:10-12) is “condemned already” for they have rejected the ONLY Way of deliverance from that judgment (John 8:24). Those people who simply refuse to believe God and accept His only begotten Son (John 3:15-17), for whatever reason, willfully remain condemned. It’s their choice.
God clearly sets forth His requirements for us to live by, but mankind has defiantly, blatantly and repeatedly fallen short. Rebellion is simply our nature. It’s born into us, we are evil from birth (Psalm 58:3). We are in bondage to sin . . . held captive like a slave. There is NO way we can free ourselves! Only God through Christ Jesus can free us. The only hope for any sinner is the amazing grace of God! This is SO clearly taught in God’s Word, the Bible.
The first rebellion of man against God was Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. God gave them a free will to do as they desired. They chose do disobey God and eat of the forbidden fruit (Gen.3). Their sinful nature was passed on to their offspring, down through the centuries . . . to you and me. As I stated, we come into this world with a sinful nature (Psalm 51:5). We “drink iniquity like water” (Job 15:14-16).
The Bible clearly teaches that we are by nature, slaves to sin.
John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
(KJV) Jesus said “If you live by what I say, you are truly my disciples. You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” To continue in His Word is to live by it daily, not just on Sunday or whenever it pleases you. Only then can you possibly know the truth; only then can the truth make you free.
Since we are slaves to Satan and his bidding by nature (2 Tim.2:26), and our eyes have been blinded to the Truth (2 Cor.4:3-4), we have NO chance what so ever of setting ourselves free from him. We NEED Jesus, desperately! Only He can make us free from the bondage of sin.
Apart from God’s grace, we cannot obey God’s law, we cannot please Him, we do not fear Him and we do not seek Him (Rom.3:11, 18; 7:8;  8:7-9). We do not have the Holy Spirit so we cannot discern any spiritual Truths (1 Cor.2:14). What an absolute mess!
Because of our horrible bondage to sin . . . it is plain just how badly we need the amazing grace of God. We desperately need His miraculous healing, to cure our spiritual blindness. Only then can we really SEE Him and all His goodness. We also need to be healed of our spiritual deafness, so we can HEAR the Truth of God. We also must be raised from the spiritually dead (anyone without Jesus), if we are to LIVE! Only the amazing grace of Almighty God can do this for us! We are utterly at His mercy. We are absolutely and totally dependent on Him.
Christ Jesus is the Greatest Physician. The whole have no need of a physician, but they that are sick (Luke 5:31). It is this way with the reliable remedy of grace and redemption. Those without Christ are sick in their soul with a deadly disease. If you are spiritually sick, the Great Physician has come into the world, for you. If you are burdened, ruled and ruined because of your sin, you NEED God’s grace. The Lord of Love had you and me in mind when He arranged the marvelous method of grace.
Christ Jesus died for our hateful sins. His precious Blood was spilled to wash away the deep crimson stains of those sins. Nothing else can remove them. Our evil, black sins can be made white as snow by the Blood of Jesus! Medicine is for diseased bodies, grace is for diseased souls. You NEED the amazing grace of God in your life!

The Amazing Grace of God
God Justifies the Ungodly  Chapter 4

Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. [KJV] . . .  What wonderful words! Him that justifieth the ungodly. Does this mean that God saves wicked men and receives even the most wicked person? NO! Not without Jesus! Only Jesus can make those just (lawful and right) who are unjust, only Jesus forgives those who deserve to be punished, and only Jesus favors those who deserve no favor.
Do you think that salvation is only for those who are good enough? Do you think that God’s amazing grace is just for the pure and holy? Do you think God’s grace is only for those who are free from sin? IF this is what you think, you are wrong! Do you think that IF you are good enough, and live a moral and upright life that God will reward you? Do you think that because you are not worthy, there could be no way you could enjoy His favor? IF you do, it must surprise you to read these words: Him that justifieth the ungodly.
I never cease to wonder at the amazing grace of God. I am so unworthy of His amazing grace! Yet God in His mercy reached out to me. The Bible tells us that we ALL are sinners (Romans 3:10, 23). NO ONE is exempt! We all are guilty of sinning against God and His goodness and His purity.
Does it surprise you that a holy, pure and undefiled God could ever justify unholy and sinful mankind? We may THINK we are not that bad! But in God’s eyes, we are vile and evil sinners without Jesus. We ALL are completely unworthy of God’s grace! God tells us that all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags (Isa.64:6). The Lord Jesus came into the world to offer His righteousness to people (1 Cor.1:30) who have none of their own! He came, not because we are just, but to make us just. He justifies the ungodly, the unworthy. He justifies all those who believe on His Name (John 1:12; Rom.10:13). This miracle is reserved for the Lord alone. He knows there is not a just man or woman anywhere on Earth that doesn’t sin, so He takes upon Himself the job of justifying the ungodly . . . when we accept Jesus and His Work on the cross.
I do not understand how this miracle happens, but then we are not supposed to understand miracles! God planned a way of making ungodly sinners to be able to stand blameless before Him. He can treat guilty offenders as if they had been free from sin all their lives. He justifies the ungodly. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. To me, it is a great wonder, that God should ever justify me. I am completely unworthy, a body of corruption, and a mass of sin; apart from His Almighty grace. I know for a fact that I am justified by faith which is in Christ Jesus, and God treats me as if I have always been perfectly just and righteous all my life. He makes me an heir of God and a joint-heir with Christ (Rom.8:17); even though I among the most sinful. I am absolutely undeserving, yet God treats me as if I deserve His love, His grace! God loves me with as much love as if I had always been completely sinless. I can’t help being overwhelmed at this! Gratitude for such grace can never be spoken in words from our mouth, but only in sincere, loving whispers from our heart.
If God justified this ungodly sinner, my friend, He can justify you. If you are without Jesus at this moment, you are ungodly, you are a sinner (John 9:31). You have been living without God, you are the exact opposite of being godly. You have been and are ungodly, no matter what you think.
Do you try to doubt God’s existence? Do you live on this Earth, which is full of proofs of God’s Presence, but you have closed your eyes to the clear signs of His power and Godhead? Do you live as if there were no God? Have you tried to convince yourself that there is no God? How long have you lived this way? You are probably well settled in your ways, and God probably is not in any of those ways. Maybe you are someone who attends church, but you have no heart in it. Maybe you sing in the choir, but you have not praised the Lord with what counts, your heart. You probably live without any love for God or any regard to His Word. If so, these words are for you: God justifieth the ungodly. Why shouldn’t you be justified? Can you think of any reason? Remember that the salvation of God is for those who do not deserve it! I truly praise and thank Him for this Truth, because I certainly do not deserve His awesome and amazing grace! But He bestowed it upon me, and I am eternally gratefully!
Do you think you don’t need to be justified? Do you think you are perfectly good and righteous on your own? Do you think everything is going your way? Do you think that Heaven is yours because you do good things? Do you think: “Why do I need a Saviour? Why do I need to be justified?” If so, what I have said will not interest you. If you think such proud falsehoods, consider for a moment what I say next. You will be lost to an eternal Hell just as sure as you are alive this day. God guarantees this! It’s a Promise from God. Your self-righteousness is all your own doing. You are either a deceiver or being deceived; for God and His Word absolutely cannot lie (Tit.1:2). The Bible states the Truth very plainly. There is none righteous, no, not one (Rom. 3:10). There is NO gospel for the self-righteous. Christ Jesus came not to call the righteous but sinners. If He would call self-righteous people, they would not come!
All I ask is that you look at that righteousness of yours, and maybe you will see what a delusion it is. Run from it! You need true righteousness, and that comes only from Jesus! Admit that you need help, admit you need something done for you, so that you will be just and righteous when you stand before the Judgment (that is certain). Trust and depend upon the grace of God. God’s grace makes people righteous who are unjust. That grace of God is His infinite love, mercy, goodness and kindness put to work in the lives of ungodly sinners! To justify the ungodly is a miracle only God can perform.
If there were a doctor somewhere who had discovered tried and true remedies for deadly diseases; where would that doctor be sent? Not to healthy people. He would go to sick people. We ALL are spiritually sick without Jesus! Call on the Great Physician. He will heal your disease of sin and its horrendous consequences.

The Amazing Grace of God
Our Faith + God’s Grace = Salvation   Chapter 5

Pardon is not for someone who has no sin. Pardon is for the guilty. Forgiveness is for the sinful. It’s ridiculous to speak of forgiving someone who has not done anything wrong, or pardoning those who have never offended anyone. God’s grace was intended for sinners, ungodly sinners!
Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (KJV) Jesus died a sacrificial, substitutional death on the cross, making an atonement (amends) for sinners. He died in our place, opening the door of God’s mercy and grace to us; a door that never closes, it is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year!
God justifies the ungodly, but even as plain as this Truth is, only the Lord that can make a person see it and believe it. He is able to abundantly pardon, no matter what you have done. Forgiveness and pardon is readily available for the guilty. Come to Jesus just as you are, filthy and sinful. Come, though hopelessness hangs over you like a dark cloud. If you will just come and ask, the Lord will justify yet another ungodly one. God’s amazing grace is meant for you.
Faith is the work of God’s grace in us. Faith is like a channel that leads God’s grace to us. God’s grace is the fountain and the stream; and our faith is the channel along which God’s grace flows. We must not block or restrict this channel in any way. It must be open at all times so that God’s grace can come down to us. By faith all things become possible to us; but our power is not in our faith, it is in God upon whom our faith depends. The peace we have, deep down in our soul is not from our faith; but from Him who is our Peace. Any and all power we have lies in the grace of God, not in our faith. You must look away from everything, and see nothing but Jesus, and the grace of God revealed in Him.
I have heard many descriptions of faith; but nearly all make me understand it less. Faith is simple and maybe that is why it is so hard to explain. Faith is knowledge, belief and trust. How shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? (Rom. 10:14). We must be informed of a fact before we can believe it. What is “knowledge” according to the Bible? It simply is knowing God! Knowledge strengthens our faith and our love. Knowledge reveals Jesus to us; it paints a picture of Jesus in our heart. Knowledge strengthens our hope and gives us patience. The more we know about God, the more our faith will increase, as will our love and our hope.
Faith cometh by hearing (Rom.10:17); we must first hear something, so that we may know whether to believe it or not. They that know thy name shall put their trust in thee (Psalm 9:10). Knowledge is necessary to faith; therefore it is important that we receive knowledge. For he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Heb. 11:6). Do you “believe that He is?”
Faith is also trust. It means leaning all your weight on Jesus. Cast yourself upon Jesus; rest in Him; commit yourself to Him. Doing this, you exercise saving faith. Faith is believing that Christ is who He said He is, and that He will do what He said He would do, and then actually claim His Promises.
The Bible states Jesus is God, God in human flesh. He is perfect in His character (Heb.7:26); He was made a sin-offering on our behalf; He bore our sins in His own Body on the tree (1 Pet.2:24). The Bible states He rose again from the dead (Mat. 28:7) that He ever liveth to make intercession for us (Rom.8:34) that He has gone up into glory, and that He will come again to judge the world in righteousness (Psalm 9:8). To firmly believe this is faith.
Faith is a channel because it gives all the glory to God. It is of faith that it might be by grace, and because of that grace, there can be no boasting on our part; for God cannot and will not stand for our pride. The proud he knoweth afar off (Psalm 138:6) and God has no wish to come near them. Faith excludes all boasting. God has selected faith to receive the indescribable gift of His grace, because faith does not take any credit. Faith places all the glory where it belongs . . . with the Lord Jesus! Our faith saves us because it makes us cling to God, and it brings us into fellowship with Him. Faith unites us to God! Faith works by the power of love and motivates our devotion to God. If we believe in God, we will love Him and trust Him. Faith creates peace and joy. If we have faith, we have rest, serenity, joy, contentment and peace. Faith provides us with spiritual armor for this life, and direction for the life to come. Only faith enables us to live and to die without fear. Faith prepares us for suffering that is bound to come in our daily lives. Faith does for us what nothing else can do; it gives us joy and peace, and eternal life.
Anyone who thinks they will be saved by their good works are pushing at Heaven’s gate with NO result. That gate will not budge, not even a fraction of an inch by the greatest deed they ever do! Faith in Christ Jesus is the only key which will ever open Heaven’s gate. God commands you to believe in His dear Son, and only by doing so, will you ever live eternally.

1 John 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. [KJV]
Ephes. 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV) . . . God saves us by His amazing grace when we believe Him in faith. We cannot take any credit for this; it is a gift from God. By His grace we are justified (declared not guilty in the courts of Heaven) and given eternal life. This awesome Gift is NOT a reward for any good things we have done, or ever will do, so not one of us can ever boast about it.
These are great verses that are the ideal of a believer’s past, present, and future. We were dead in trespasses and sin, God saved us by His grace because of our faith, raising us now to heavenly places in Christ Jesus, and we will someday be in Heaven exhibiting the grace of God. NO part of this miracle depends on our own works or merit, for by grace are ye saved. Grace points out just how “good” God is! Grace is something extra special, that could only come from God. Grace is favor bestowed on the unworthy and undeserving (the ungodly) through our faith. How good God is!
Many times in class, I will ask: “Are you saved?” I receive different answers, which all are spawned by doubt. Please don’t ever say, “I hope to be saved.” If you have put your trust in Christ, you can say with confidence, “I am saved.” There are some who will say, “I wouldn’t dare say that, because I don’t know what the future holds.” Friend, your salvation rests upon the grace of God, and His faithfulness. You can be 100% confident of God’s grace.

Philip. 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (KJV)

2 Tim. 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. (KJV)

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. (KJV) . . . Once you accept Jesus by faith, and trust Him to save you . . . He will! You can be confident, certain, assured . . . that salvation is yours through Him and say, “I AM SAVED! Praise God, I am saved!”
God’s children will wander from Him at times (backslide), but He will always make a way back for them because it is by His grace and that alone that you are saved. You have a finished salvation because of your faith and God’s amazing grace.
God’s amazing grace (unmerited favor) is His awesome love in action. His Divine love and His Divine grace are not the same. There is a difference. God might love sinners with a marvelous compassion, but because of the demands of His Divine justice and holiness, He would be unable to rescue them from a righteous doom. God’s Divine grace is the free, unbound compassion of God acting toward the sinner because they have been justified and secured through the righteous judgment against sin, secured by Christ in His sacrificial death. God in His love might want to save, yet be unable righteously to do so; but God’s grace is free to act since Christ has died. God now offers His amazing grace to ALL people through Jesus. When we allow Jesus to come into our heart and life, when we believe He died on the cross in our place (substitutionary sacrifice), God showers His grace upon us. Out of His endless treasure chest He generously bestows His grace upon sinners without restraint or hindrance.
Faith is the channel, the instrumental cause of salvation. It is the only element (thing) that the sinner brings to the great transaction of salvation. But, faith too, is a gift of God. Some will say, “Since faith is a gift of God and God hasn’t given it to me, then I am not to blame if I don’t believe.” Wrong! God makes it very clear that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. If you want to trust Christ, you will have to listen to (or read) the Word of God. God will absolutely give faith to all who listen to or read the message of the Gospel.

2 Cor. 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. (KJV) . . . When anyone listens to and obeys the Gospel, and becomes a Christian, Christ removes the veil (2 Cor. 3:16). Only belief in Christ can give you eternal life, and freedom from trying to be saved by keeping laws and doing good. But, a person must hear the Gospel, in order to receive faith and salvation.

Rom.10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (KJV) . . . Faith is a gift from God, yes! But you must have a desire to have it! When your heart shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away. Anytime that you are ready to turn to Christ, you can turn to Him. It’s your choice! He won’t force you!
The gift of faith will NOT come your way until you are ready and willing to give up your sins which the Bible condemns. When you get sick of your sins, when you are willing to turn from yourself, from the things of the world, from “religion”, from everything the Bible condemns, and turn TO Christ, THEN and only then, will you be given the gift of faith.
Sin is a real problem in the hearts of millions of people today. Even many believers do not enjoy their salvation for that very reason.
Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. (KJV) Does your faith ever feel stagnant? Does it feel like sin has driven a wedge between you and God, making Him seem far away? It happens to the ‘best’ Christians, it happened to David. He had sinned with Bathsheba and was confronted by Nathan the prophet. In David’s prayer he cried out to the Lord, “Restore to me the joy of your salvation.” I want you to look carefully at these words. David did NOT lose his salvation because of his sin . . .  he lost the JOY of his salvation. That is what sin does to us! The joy we should have is gone, because of our sin. God wants us to be close to Him and to experience joy and peace in our life. But any sin we do not confess makes such closeness impossible. Confess your sin to God (1 John 1:8-10). He will give you back the joy of your relationship with Him; the joy of feeling His love and approval.
People who are emotionally disturbed and depressed have a tendency to live in the past. They concentrate on their past mistakes and failures, and they look to themselves for comfort and help, instead of looking to Christ and trusting Him.
Faith is the instrument (channel) of salvation. The great preacher, Spurgeon said, “It is not thy joy in Christ that saves thee; it is Christ. It is not thy hope in Christ that saves thee; it is Christ. It is not even thy faith in Christ, though that be the instrument; it is Christ’s blood and merit.” The Blood of Christ is where the power is, and that is where our salvation is. Faith is simply our way of obtaining it.

Ephes. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV) . . . Let’s go back to this wonderful verse. Paul is not talking about faith when he says, And that not of yourselves. He is talking about salvation. Salvation is a gift that eliminates boasting. Salvation is ALL of God and not us. It is God’s gift, and with it comes His endless grace. Accept the awesome Gift of God’s amazing grace that He so willingly offers.

Amazing Grace of God
God’s Grace = Our Victory   Chapter 6

God’s grace is favor or kindness shown to someone, with no thought to their worth or merit. The person receives it, in spite of what that person deserves. Grace is one of the key characteristics of God. The Lord God is merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth (Ex. 34:6). Grace is almost always associated with mercy, compassion, love, and patience.
Although God’s grace is always free and undeserved, we must never take it for granted. Grace is only enjoyed within its bounds . . . a gift given by God, and the gift is received by people through their repentance and faith. We should humbly seek God’s grace through the prayer of faith.
God’s grace was flawlessly revealed and given, in the Person and Work of Jesus Christ. Jesus was not only the beneficiary of God’s grace (Luke 2:40), but was also its very perfection (John 1:14), bringing it to mankind for salvation.

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (KJV) . . . Do you see what this says? God’s grace has appeared to ALL men (people). God’s grace is for the benefit of ALL people. I know there are MANY “religions” in the world. And I know there are MANY gods in the world. BUT, there is only one true God, that being the God of the Bible, the Creator of the Universe and everything that is in it (Acts 14:15). ALL other religions are wrong according to the Bible, and ALL other gods are idols according to the Bible. NO other God can do what Almighty God can do.
By His death and resurrection, Jesus restored the broken fellowship between God and His people, both Jews and Gentiles. The only way of salvation for ANY person is through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 15:11).
The grace of God revealed in Jesus Christ is applied to us for our salvation by the Holy Spirit, who is called “the Spirit of grace” (Heb. 10:29). The Holy Spirit is the One who secures or connects Christ to His people so that they receive forgiveness, adoption into the family of God, and newness of life, as well as every spiritual gift or grace (Eph. 4:7).
The apostle Paul makes it abundantly clear that salvation is not something that can be earned; it can be received only as a gift of grace (Rom. 4:4). Grace, as I have already said, must be accompanied by faith. We trust in the mercy and favor of God, even while we know we are undeserving (Rom. 4:16; Gal. 2:16).
Christ died for sinners, yet so few lost souls seem to be turning to Him today. Did He die in vain? NO! If you were the only person on Earth, Jesus would have died for you . . . or me. He loves us that much.
The Bible is full of precious Promises to those who believe. God’s Word is a treasure chest, waiting to be opened by us. What marvelous comfort and encouragement can be found there! Everything there is completely trustworthy and true in every way. God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). He wants to shower us with unending blessings. Why are we so hesitant to accept the many marvelous things God has to offer us? Why do even the best and most faithful of God’s children let those Promises lie there like dead corpses? We could have such a better life and SO much more in life, if we would only reach out and take hold of those Promises, claim them as ours! We could have many victories that we now are forced to take as failures.
Through Christ we also can claim the victory.
2 Cor. 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. (KJV) . . . We have victory in Christ Jesus. Our lives are like a sweet smelling perfume presented by Jesus to God. But we are seen differently by people around us, especially lost souls. See below some of the victories we have when we believe in faith and accept Jesus into our heart and soul and life.

Victory Over Evil Influences.
Psalm 44:5 Through thee will we push down our enemies: through thy name will we tread them under that rise up against us. (KJV) . . . Only by the power of Jesus can we defeat our enemies.

Malachi 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts. (KJV) . . . Christ is a joyous Light to those who serve Him faithfully. Only through Him are believers justified (acquitted) and sanctified (set apart), thus enabling us to see the Light. Only Jesus can make us sinners holy, righteous, joyful, and fruitful. Christ gives His Spirit to those who are His, to shine in their hearts, and to be a Comforter to them. He is a Sun and a Shield to them. Our greatest victory in life comes only through Jesus. It is not we who accomplish this victory, but the grace of God, through Jesus who does it for us. Great is the happiness of the believer, when he goes from the darkness and evil of this world, to rejoice in the Light of the Lord for ever!

Victory Over Evil Spiritual Forces
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (KJV) . . . It is impossible to be separated from Christ, once you are united to Him. His death for us is proof of His love for us. Nothing can stop Christ’s constant Presence with us. God tells us how great His love is, so that we will feel totally secure in Him.

Ephes. 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (KJV) . . . In our Christian life we have a never ending spiritual battle with the powerful evil forces of fallen angels headed by Satan (1 Peter 5:8). To withstand their attacks, we must depend on God’s strength and use every piece of His armor. When we believe in Christ, these beings become our enemies, and they try everything possible to turn us away from Jesus and back to sin. We are assured of victory, but we will struggle until Christ returns, because Satan is constantly at war with all who are on the Lord’s side. We need supernatural power to defeat Satan, and God has provided this for us by giving us His Holy Spirit within us and His armor around us.

2 Cor. 10:3-4 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) (KJV) . . . We humans are weak, and our strength, plans and methods to win our battles will falter and fall without God’s mighty weapons that are available to us as we fight against Satan’s strongholds. We must choose what we will do to win our battle, go to God for help, or do it our way. Paul tells us here that we need God’s mighty spiritual weapons as we battle with Satan. All God’s weapons are powerful and effective (Ephes. 6:13-18)! Only God’s mighty spiritual weapons can break down every proud human argument against God, and also the walls that Satan builds to keep people from finding God. We really do have a tremendous spiritual enemy, and a spiritual enemy requires mighty spiritual weapons.
Our first weapon is the Word of God (the Gospel of peace). We must have confidence (complete assurance) in the Word of God. It is the sword of the Spirit. Paul wrote, “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Eph. 6:17). We need to draw our trusty sword, and depend on it. He also wrote, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Rom. 1:16).
We must have confidence in the Word of God. We must be assured that the Bible IS inspired by God (2 Tim. 3:16), from Genesis 1:1 to Revelation 22:21.  We must believe the account of Creation, and we must believe there is a Hell. God’s Word is the sword of the Spirit, and you must believe it from beginning to end or it cannot be a weapon for you.

Mat.4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (KJV) . . . The Word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, and can cut into our deepest, innermost thoughts and desires. It shows us what we really are (Heb.4:12).
The second weapon is the Presence of the Holy Spirit. Paul recognized his own human weakness. But, he knew that he was sealed and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
1 Cor. 2:10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. (KJV)
Ephes. 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; (KJV)
1 Thes. 5:19 Quench not the Spirit. (KJV) . . . Do NOT hold back the Spirit from doing His work through. He can give you abundant wisdom and power for your life as a believer.
A third weapon is prayer.
Ephes. 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (KJV) . . . How can we “pray always”?

  1. Making quick, brief prayers a habit in response to every situation (good or bad) throughout the day.
  2.  Plan your life around God’s desires and teachings so that your whole life becomes a prayer.
  3. You do NOT have to be completely isolated from other people in order to pray without ceasing (1 Thes.5:17). You simply must be in an attitude of prayer, and know the Lord will hear you no matter where you are or what you are doing.

A fourth weapon is faith.
Ephes. 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. (KJV) . . . Faith is extremely important in our battle with evil spiritual forces. It acts as a “shield” to us.
1 Thes. 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. (KJV) . . . Here faith is joined with love as a shield.

A fifth weapon is righteousness.

2 Cor. 6:7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, (KJV) . . . Weapons for the right hand are offensive weapons; those for the left hand are defensive. No soldier is fully prepared for battle without both.
Ephes. 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; (KJV) . . . We should stand our ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.

A sixth weapon is the helmet of salvation.
Ephes. 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: (KJV)
1 Thes. 5:8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. (KJV) . . . All the parts of the armor mentioned so far have been for defense. Everything is for the front of us. There is no protection for our back; nothing is provided for retreat. We are not to retreat. A retreating Christian is open season for the enemy; the enemy can get us if we turn and run.
If we put on all the armor that God gives us, we will be able to stand up against the devil’s evil tricks. For we do not fight against human beings but against Satan and his cohorts, the wicked spiritual forces who have great powers of this Dark Age. Put on God’s armor now! Then when the battle comes (and it will), you will be ready and able to resist the enemy’s attacks. You will fight to the end, you will be able to hold your ground (Eph.6:11-13). You won’t have to retreat! It’s there. Use God’s armor!
A seventh weapon is light.
Rom.13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. (KJV) . . . The night refers to this present evil time. The day refers to Christ’s return. We are to cast off all wickedness: drunkenness, wild parties, fighting, sexual immorality, etc. Our thoughts and attitudes are as important as our actions (Mat. 5:28). Just as hatred leads to murder (1 John 3:15), so too jealousy leads to strife and lust to adultery. When Christ returns, He wants to find His people clean on the inside as well as on the outside.

How do we put on the armour of light (the Lord Jesus Christ)?

  1. We must identify with Him by being baptized. Gal.3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (KJV) . . . This shows our taking a stand for Jesus, with other believers.
  2. We must illustrate the qualities Jesus showed while He was here on Earth (love, humility, truth, service).
  3. Last but not least, we must not give our desires (lust) any opportunity to take us down the road to sin. Avoid any situations or people that would lead you away from God and to sin.

Victory Over Worldly Allurements

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. (KJV) . . . Remember, faith is a shield against the devil’s tricks, and he has many! He will try to trick you into turning away from Jesus by tempting you with wealth, possessions, power, fame, pleasure, etc., and many times he will convince you to do something illegal or immoral. He even tempted Jesus (Mat.4:1-11). Stand firm in your faith! Ask the Lord to increase your faith. He will! (Luke 17:5).
We can have victory over Satan if we will put on the whole armor of God. We need ALL the spiritual weapons He offers, or we are doomed, because the devil is very powerful in this evil world. He is called the prince of this world (John 12:31; 14:30; 16:11). He is called the power of the air (Ephes. 2:2). He is called the ruler of the darkness of this world (Ephes. 6:12).
But, praise God, we do have help!
1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. (KJV) . . . Satan is great and powerful! BUT, greater and much more powerful, is the Holy Spirit who is in ALL believers. If the Holy Spirit does not abide within you, you do NOT belong to God (Rom.8:9). We must never turn away from the amazing grace of God. When you allow the Holy Spirit to work within you, you will act as Christ directs; walk as He walked. You will be given power to serve God and do His will.

The Amazing Grace of God
God’s Grace Firmly Establishes Us   Chapter 7

Is it possible for TRUE Christians to ever be separated from Jesus? Can we lose the favor of God our Heavenly Father by sin? Can we be eternally shut out of Heaven (God’s Home)? Many people ask these questions. The more I study God’s Holy Word, the more I know the answer to all these questions is NO! We can NEVER, ever be separated from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Rom. 8:35-39). Any believer who is truly sincere in his/her commitment to Jesus, who has overcome the world, by believing that Jesus is the Son of God (1 John 5:4-5), is God’s child (1 John 3:1), and once we are adopted into the family of God, we are there forever! God will NOT tell us tomorrow that we no longer belong to Him because we did some gross sin today. Once He is our Father, He will NEVER disown us for any reason. Just as our earthly parents can never truly “disown” us (even though some say they do), DNA can prove we are their child. God’s amazing grace, through Jesus Christ, is like that DNA . . . we are God’s child forever!

We are sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Ephes. 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, (KJV) . . . Once we are sealed by Him, we belong to God forever! In the Book of Revelation, millions of people will accept the seal of the devil (Rev.13:16-18), and once they do, they have NO chance whatsoever of ever being God’s child (Rev. 14:11; 16:2). What a terrifying thought!
A WARNING! God KNOWS if you are sincere about your relationship with His only begotten Son, Jesus. You may be able to fool every person you come in contact with, but you can NEVER fool God! He knows everything! (Isa.42:9; 46:9-10; Eze.11:5). But, if you are sincere and a TRUE child of God, you can NEVER lose favor with God the Father, you will NEVER be shut out or excluded from Heaven (God’s Home). Jesus tells us so!

John 14:1-3 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (KJV) . . . Jesus was speaking to His disciples here, but He is also speaking to us!
John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. (KJV) . . . God has given Jesus many other sheep (John 10:14-16; Eph.1:3-6). And our Shepherd will NEVER abandon or forsake even the slightest one (Heb.13:5: Mat.18:12-13). We are truly safe and secure in Jesus, by the amazing grace of God.
God will NEVER forsake His people, any of them, now or ever!
1 Samuel 12:22 For the Lord will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the Lord to make you his people. (KJV) . . . This applies to the Jews, the nation Israel, but it also applies to ALL His people! ALL His sheep, all over the entire world! He will continue to carry on His good work in our souls by His grace, until we are perfected in glory.
God’s grace applies to us not because we sin less than the next person, not because we are better that someone else, but because we have believed and trusted Jesus and His work on the cross for us.
Isaiah 49:15-16 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. 16  Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me. (KJV) . . . This is a most comforting portion of God’s Word! Even IF a mother would forget her child . . . God will not forget ANY of His children! See the next verse. He writes our name on His Hand. He will NEVER forget us! NEVER forsake us once we are truly His child! The divine love and grace of God are unchangeable! When He adopts us, His love, His grace does NOT fluctuate or waver up and down, but stays the same! It does NOT change. God will continue to care for us and keep us forever!

Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. (KJV) . . . These comforting words bring trust, hope, love and confidence to our souls. The mountains of the world shall one day depart, God says so! The grace of God will NEVER depart from us! The hills all around us shall one day be removed, but God’s grace will NEVER be removed from us.
The Lord God has mercy on His people forever. He is unchangeable, and His grace too is unchangeable!

Malachi 3:6-A For I am the Lord, I change not; . . . [KJV]
Mat.24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. [KJV] . . .  If it were possible means it will NOT be possible to deceive the very elect (TRUE believers). Those He has chosen to be His are safe and secure, both now and for ever more. But, the false professors and hypocrites will indeed fall for the lies of the false Christs and false prophets.
John 3:15-16 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. [16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [KJV] . . . Do you see it? We who believe in Him (Jesus) will NOT perish in Hell, but have everlasting life. Everlasting = eternal, never ending, ceaseless, endless, permanent. That means FOREVER! God’s amazing grace is forever!
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV) . . . The moment we believe on Jesus, eternal life begins! It’s ours NOW! Hath = has, we have it now!
John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. [KJV] . . .  By the grace of God we are made God’s children through Jesus (John 1:12-13), and by the grace of God, He shall raise us up at the last day. We shall be resurrected. We cannot go to Heaven with the corrupt bodies we now have.
1 Cor. 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. [KJV]
Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. [KJV] We shall one day have glorious bodies similar to Christ. We shall never sin again!
Philip. 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. [KJV] . . . We shall be given new bodies, fit for Heaven.
1 Cor. 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. [KJV] . . .  Our present bodies are vile and corrupt, not fit for Heaven (Rev.21:8; 22:15). May you be among the blessed (God’s children), that do his commandments (Rev. 22:14).
Jesus tells us many wonderful, comforting and true things, if we will just take the time to listen!
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: [KJV] . . . IF we follow in the Light of Jesus and walk with Him, He will lead us to everlasting life in His Home, Heaven.
John 10:28-29 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. [KJV] . . . This absolutely magnificent Passage teaches us in plain, strong and positive language that those who have been saved by God’s grace shall never perish! NEVER! No person, no demonic enemy shall ever be able to grab us away from God’s mighty Hand, now or ever! No man or demon shall ever be able to defeat the purpose of God’s divine grace. We have the Holy Spirit abiding within us forever (John 14:16). There is NO greater power! Our spiritual life is in His Holy Hands!
Philip. 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: [KJV] . . . Perform = to carry through. The Holy Spirit will finish what He started! The Holy Spirit has sealed us until the day of redemption. We should grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption (Eph. 4:30). He is going to see it through. If you are a child of God, you can verify that God has brought you up to the present moment, and He is not going to let you down now. He began a good work in us, and He will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. How wonderful it is to have a heavenly Father like this!
1 Peter 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. [KJV] . . . This tells us that God has done, and will do all He has told us He will do. God, in His mighty power, will protect us until we receive the salvation He has promised. We must always continue to trust Him. The Most High began His Kingdom in our souls, and my friend, He is well able to finish it! He has quickened us into eternal life. He has loved us, forgiven us, renewed us, justified us, and sanctified us. If after doing all this for us, do you think He will just drop us like a hot potato? He loved us enough to save us with His amazing grace, and He loves us enough to carry us through to the very end. NO one can possibly rip us away from His mighty Hand! It is NOT possible! He will NOT allow that to happen.
I’d like to add one more thing.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. [KJV] . . . There are some people who think they can lose their salvation. This verse always pops up when I think of them. HOW can anyone have peace within them when they think at any moment they might lose their salvation? That would be a horrible way to live. God tells us it is NOT what we do, but what He does for us to have salvation. We CANNOT earn or buy salvation, NO way! Only the grace of God brings us this eternal Gift! We don’t receive the gift, and the next minute, He rips it away because we sinned. By God’s amazing grace we are forgiven for ALL our sins . . . past, present and future. Only when we believe God and trust Him completely can we ever have peace and joy (John 15:11) in our life. Remember . . . eternal means forever! God, in His amazing grace, gives us eternal life! If He gave it, then ripped it away from us again, that would NOT be eternal! That is temporary. God does NOT give us temporary life in Heaven . . . He gives us ETERNAL life in Heaven.  May the peace of God be with you always. Amen.

The amazing grace of God in Heaven,
Has all my sins freely forgiven.
When I believed and trusted His Son,
Eternal life for me had just begun.

I was so deep in sin, plain and true,
Only God’s grace could have seen me thru’.
He sent His only Son to save my soul,
Rescuing me from Satan’s control.

God’s amazing grace, His love divine,
Saved from Hell, that wretched soul of mine.
This love so wonderful, so true indeed,
‘Tis there for whosoever, is in need.

The amazing grace of God freely flows,
To all humanity, here in our woes.
Divine and excelling, is God’s great love,
It flows so abundantly from above.

Nought can compare, to God’s amazing grace,
It shall sustain us, ‘til we see His Face.
Just He can save us from the pits of Hell,
And grant entrance to Heav’n, where He dwells.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God’s grace is plain and true and free!

The greater your burden, more grace He’ll give,
God helps His children in the lives they live.
More strength will be yours as labors increase,
When troubles overwhelm, God sends great peace.

When afflictions defeat, God shows mercy,
More grace He will send to give victory.
When your heartache is more than you can bear,
God so quickly sends love, to show He cares.

When you agonize, because of much pain,
The grace of God, is a tremendous gain.
When the cry of your anguish, rises high,
God will hear, your request won’t be denied.

Upon the precious Lord, your burden cast,
He’ll grant you enough grace, to hold you fast!
Bring to Jesus all your worries and care,
Go to Him daily, in sincere prayer.

Our precious Lord Jesus is there for you,
Grace He provides is a perfect rescue.
Trust Him with ev’ry single breath you take,
For He will never leave, nor ever forsake!

Note following Scriptures:
2 Cor. 12:9 My grace is sufficient for thee:  . . . Philip. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. [KJV] 1 Cor. 10:13 tells us He will never give us more than we can bear.

God’s grace is more than I can comprehend,
This awesome Being, who calls me His friend.
‘Tis undeserved favor, sent from above,
‘Tis kindness and mercy and abundant love.

This amazing grace, to His children does flow,
‘Tis a great privilege the Lord God to know.
Because of our faith, He does justify,
On His amazing grace, we can rely.

God declares us righteous, when we believe,
And everlasting life, we do receive.
A home in Heaven, with our Lord awaits,
Our prepared mansion, is just thru’ the gates.

This wondrous grace, we don’t work for or deserve,
Comes from our Lord’s never ending reserve.
Not one person, is worthy of His grace,
But faith in Christ assures, we’ll see His Face.

Our Lord is merciful, loving and kind,
And those who believe, won’t be left behind.
To His amazing grace, all can access,
Just believe by faith, and our Lord will bless.
