WHERE is the Blood of Jesus?
The Blood of Jesus is In Heaven on the Mercy Seat!
Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (KJV)
The Old Testament tabernacle, the holy of holies, the mercy seat and the priestly work of atonement were all just shadows of things that were to come.
Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. (KJV)
Hebrews 10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. (KJV)
The precious Blood of Jesus had to be applied to the heavenly mercy seat to redeem sinful man. My dear friend, IF Jesus' Blood had soaked into the ground at Calvary, the sins of humanity could NOT have been taken away.
The Price Jesus Paid for the Church
This is not a new or strange doctrine, it is the Word of God. It is SO sad that most people attend substandard churches and have never been blessed to hear a TRUE man of God preach to them . . . a man who truly walks with God and understands the Word of God.
The lamb's death was NOT enough when the 10th plague (the death of the firstborn) came upon Egypt. The lamb's shed blood HAD TO BE APPLIED to the doorposts of the home before the death angel would pass over that home.
Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. (KJV)
The Literal Blood of Jesus had to be Applied
to the Mercy Seat in Heaven
The shed blood was to be sprinkled on the mercy seat immediately after the death of the substitutionary animal of sacrifice. Christ Jesus is our Substitute, being that He was slain upon the Cross for us. He died for us . . . and when He arose, He went immediately to Heaven, entered into the holy of holies in Heaven, sprinkled His Precious Blood upon the mercy seat before the throne of God, and forever settled the sin questions, and delivered us from the curse of the law. This is clearly taught in the New Testament. Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (KJV)
I think that the Bible also makes it plain WHEN Christ accomplished this. On the morning of the resurrection He meets Mary at the tomb. As soon as Mary recognized Him, she fell before Him and would have kissed His feet, but so quickly Jesus emphatically says to her: Touch me not (Jn.20:17). . . and He then proceeds immediately to give the reason why Mary is not permitted to touch Him.
John 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. (KJV)
We can better understand His Words when we remember the high priest, after he had offered the sacrifice, was to enter the holy of holies, BEFORE he did anything else, with the blood of the sacrifice. NO one was allowed to approach the high priest. Everyone was shut out until this was completely done. Here in the record of the meeting with Mary, we have the fulfillment of this. Here Mary meets her Great High Priest (Heb.3:1; 4:14-15), who had just risen from the tomb, but BEFORE He had entered the holy of holies with the reconciling Blood. And so He says to her, Touch Me not.
Some say that the best way to interpret the Bible is to NOT interpret it. If we carefully and persistently cross-referring one Scripture with another Scripture, we can arrive at a complete and accurate picture of divine Truth. Let us thank God for the precious redeeming literal blood of Christ Jesus! 1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: (KJV)
The Death of the Passover Lamb Was NOT Enough
When the Lord was going to pass over Egypt and destroy the firstborn, he told Moses and Aaron the following: Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. (KJV)
The death of the Passover lamb was NOT enough . . . the blood of that lamb had to be applied to the door posts (Ex.12:7). This was done in FAITH! They believed God would do as He said, IF they did as He told them to do . . . SO . . . they applied the blood of the lamb on the door posts and upper door post. Then when the death angel saw the blood of the Passover lamb, he passed over that house! This looked forward to Christ Jesus’ death on the cross. When God sees the Blood of Christ covering us, He passes over us! We are SAFE! We MUST be WASHED in the Blood of the Lamb!
Romans 3:24-25 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (KJV)
Romans 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (KJV)
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. (KJV) http://www.godcannotlie.org/book_of_romans_ch.5.htm
Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; (KJV) http://www.godcannotlie.org/eph_ch1.htm
Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (KJV) http://www.godcannotlie.org/col_ch1.htm
1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; 19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: (KJV) http://www.godcannotlie.org/1_peter_ch.1.htm
Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, (KJV) http://www.godcannotlie.org/rev_ch1.htm
Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (KJV) http://www.godcannotlie.org/rev_ch7.htm
Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. (KJV)
One of the most important Christian doctrines . . . is Jesus precious literal Blood! No truly saved person would ever deny the redemptive power of Jesus' physical Blood! Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (KJV)
In today’s modern churches, very little is ever said about the precious Blood of Jesus. Dear one, the Blood of Jesus is very IMPORTANT! 1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (KJV) . . . Jesus paid a debt He did not owe, because we owed a debt we could never pay. God clearly tells us that our sins had to be paid for with Jesus' Blood. What a wonderful Saviour! IF you turn your back on the precious Blood of Jesus, you are in effect saying that God is a Liar (1 Jn.5:10), and that His Holy Word is WRONG! I feel really sorry for those who turn their backs on the precious Blood of Jesus! They remove the word ‘blood’ from hymns, and indeed, the Bible! SO SAD!!! Unless you are WASHED in that precious Blood . . . you will NEVER get to Heaven, you will NOT even SEE it (Jn.3:3). BEWARE!!!!
In the Old Testament, the people's sins were only atoned for (covered). Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul. (KJV)
This Scripture speaks of the blood of sacrificial animals, which were sacrificed to TEMPORARILY cover the sins of the people in the Old Testament, UNTIL the Messiah would come and offer the perfect PERMANENT Sacrifice of Himself to God the Father. http://www.hisservants.org/once_saved,_always_saved_h_s.htm
Hebrews 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (KJV) . . . Jesus' Blood does not atone temporary for our sins; but instead, takes our sins away FOREVER!
The Blood Does NOT Just Represent Jesus' Death!
There is a damnable heresy circulating in many of today’s churches, teaching that Jesus' literal Blood has no value or significance in or of itself. This heresy claims that Jesus' Blood is important only that it represents the DEATH of Christ. This is NOT true! When God told Moses to warn the Israelites concerning the coming 10th plague (the death of the firstborn), the people were told to kill a lamb, and then APPLY the lamb's blood to the side and upper door posts of the house. Exodus 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. (KJV)
Do you SEE what this says? When he sees the blood - - - - - the LORD will pass over the door.
WHAT was the Lord looking for? The dead lamb? NO! He was looking for the blood of the dead lamb that had been applied to the door posts! Please consider the following!
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, (KJV)
Hebrews 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (KJV)
Jesus' Blood Sacrifice is All Sufficient
Hebrews 9:24-26 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: 25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. (KJV) http://www.godcannotlie.org/book_of_hebrews_ch9.htm
Jesus needed to offer Himself as a sacrifice ONLY once (Heb.7:27; 9:28; 10:10; 1 Pet.3:18). That is what is wrong with the Catholic crucifix . . . they keep Jesus on the cross.
Jesus is NOT on the cross! Jesus is in Heaven at the right Hand of God (Mk.16:19; Lk.22:69; Acts 2:33; 5:31; Rom. 2:34; Heb.10:12; 12:2; 1 Pet.3:23). Jesus is NO longer on the cross. Jesus died on the cross, was buried to confirm His death, and then rose victoriously 3 days later. Christ Jesus is alive! I thank the Lord for His mercy, and for paying for our many sins with His precious Blood. The sins of the world: (Jn.1:29; 1 Jn.2:2).
