Don't we ALL sin daily?

Is it really possible to go an entire day without sinning?"

There are is no Bible verses that specifically state that we commit a sinful act each day, but we do have verses that remind us that we have inherited the capacity and capability to sin at any time.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (KJV)

Psalms 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. (KJV)

Psalms 58:3 The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. (KJV) . . . We ALL are born children of disobedience, children of the devil (1 John 3:10). And where original sin is, actual sin will follow. The conscience of every man witnesses to the Truth of Scripture (Rom.1:20).

Can anyone claim to love God with all his heart, soul and mind every moment of every day? Is there a Scripture that tells us this? NO! There is NOT one!

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. (KJV) . . . Failing to love God completely, with your all, at all times is a daily sin for all Christians. Our thoughts, words and actions always put something or someone before God all the time. That is SIN.

Jeremiah warns us of the deceitfulness of our old sinful nature, which really is warning us of the lilelihood of daily sin.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? (KJV)

Consider the utter pressure and guilt of the apostle Paul, frustrated with his ever present battle against indwelling sin. Romans 7:15-16 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. (KJV) . . . True, these verses do not actually indicate daily sin, but they certainly do warn us against the pride and arrogance and self-righteouss of saying that we have no sin (1 John 1:10).

It is wonderful to know that we will not have to strive forever against the daily sin that displeases God SO much. One day we will be in Heaven with our Saviour and will be freed from the presence and power of sin, just as we have already been freed from its penalty. I do NOT think it is possible for anyone to go an entire day without sinning.

Eternal Salvation IS a Biblical doctrine clearly taught within the pages of God's Holy Word! Believe it friend.
